Member of the Order of Canada 1999
The Order of Canada pays tribute to Canadians who exemplify the highest quality of citizenship and whose contributions enrich the lives of their contemporaries.The latin motto of this fraternity of merit - desiderantes meliorem patriam - proclaims the aspirations of its members who, in their lives and work, have shown that "they desire a better country ". On February 3, 1999, the Governor General, His Excellency the Right Honourable Romeo LeBlanc, invested Major Deanna Brasseur as a Member of the Order of Canada.
Women in Aviation Hall of Fame

The Women in Aviation, International Pioneer Hall of Fame was established in 1992 to honor women who have made significant contributions as record setters, pioneers, or innovators. Special consideration is given to individuals or groups who have helped other women be successful in aviation or opened doors of opportunity for other women. Each year, the organization solicits nominations from throughout the aviation industry for the WAI Pioneer Hall of Fame. At the Success Motivation International Inc., Leadership Management International & Family Motivation International (SMI/LMI/FMI) World Convention, Dee Brasseur was presented as the Winner of the 1998 SMI Client of the Year in the Personal Achievement Category. In addition to recognizing her outstanding national and international achievements in aviation and community service, since retiring from the military, she has established herself as one of North America's most inspirational speakers - speaking to thousands in Canada and the United States on her theme "The Sky Is Not The Limit."

The Ottawa Beta Sigma Phi honoured Major Deanna Brasseur by selecting her as their 1997-1998 Woman of the Year for her outstanding contribution to Canadian Aviation.
COPA Achievement Award
